SBI or State Bank of India is a reputed Public Sector Bank that is conducting SBI Clerk exam to select candidates to fill in the vacancies for Clerical Cadre in its various branches spread all across the country.

SBI Clerk 2023

SBI Clerk 2023 notification is expected to be released in September 2023 to fill up vacancies for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) post. The application form will be made available after the release of notification. The prelims exam is expected to be conducted in November 2023. The mains exam is expected to be conducted in January 2024.

SBI Clerk Eligibility 2023

• SBI Clerk age limit is between 20 and 28 years
• Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the government rules
• Graduate candidates from any discipline can apply for the exam
• Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate can also apply for the exam
• Candidates who are in their final year/semester of graduation can apply provisionally. They need to produce proof of having passed the examination on or before the joining date

SBI CLERK SELECTION PROCEDURE

To get to the post of Junior Associate/Clerical Cadre through SBI Clerk exam, candidates are selected through two phases of exams- Preliminary and Mains exam. It is mandatory for a candidate to clear all the phases in order to get the appointment letter from SBI.


SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2023

SBI Clerk exam is conducted online by SBI. The online test is conducted in two different stages-prelims and mains. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are required to appear for local language test. The prelims exam comprises three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam comprises four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The mains exam carries a total of 200 marks. The duration of the prelims exam is 60 minutes and it is 2 Hours 40 minutes. There are sectional timings in both the stages of exam.
