Every year, Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted twice at the national level for aspirants who want to secure a teaching job in the government sector. It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board. Every year large number of applicants applies for the CTET Exam. CBSE has held CTET exam for those students whose wish to become govt. teachers. The CTET exam is held with two criteria i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.
The CTET Paper 1 is for those students who interested to teach Classes 1-5 and Paper 2 is for those students who wished to teach Classes 6-8. Students who want to teach Classes 1-8 they also need to take both papers.
It will be taken for every student who has the wish to the post of a teacher within the faculty for the class I to VIII. This exam makes able the successful applicants to teach at the school of central government just like the KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, and also the alternative faculties that accept the CTET 2023 Score.
There are set of rules and regulations which have to be fulfilled by applicants in order to appear for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The criteria are as laid down by CBSE. Participants who are interested in pursuing teaching careers are advised to go through the details furnished below:
•Applicants must be a citizen of India to be eligible for CTET .
•There is no age restriction, however, candidate must be minimum 17 years of age.
•Candidates will have to fulfill different eligibility according to their wish to be a Primary or Elementary Teacher.
•TThe basic eligibility for CTET is a graduation or a 2-year diploma in elementary education with minimum 45-50% marks.

CTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria For Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
• 12th passed out with not less than 50% marks and additionally passed a two-year diploma in teaching.
• 12th passed out with not less 45% marks and additionally passed a two-year diploma in teaching as per NCTE regulation 2002.
• Completed 12th with the minimum 50% marks and have done the four years of the Bachelor of Teaching (B.EL.ED).
• Completed 12th examination with 50% marks and passed or final year of diploma in Education (two years duration).
• Graduate and cleared or pursuing within the final year of diploma in teaching (two years duration).
