Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (12th Class) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Sub-Inspector

A Degree in any discipline or an equivalent certification from a recognized College / Institutions associated with a recognized University is required.

Selection Process for UP Police SI Posts

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of online written exam, PST, PET, Final List and Medical Exam .

UP Police Exam Pattern

1. The exam will be divided into 4 sections in UP SI Exam 2023 namely General Hindi, Law/General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude/Intelligence Quotient Test.
2. Each correct question carries 0.25 marks.
3. There is no negative marking for UP SI written test.
4. The exam will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration.
