UP LT Grade is the Licentiates Teacher Grade Exam that is conducted by the Educational Board of Uttar Pradesh every year. The UPPSC (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) is yet to release the official notification of Grade Assistant Teacher for the year 2023. The commission has made it mandatory that the candidates qualify for all the different eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official notification.

A total number of 19300 posts of Assistant Teacher has been sanctioned by the Directorate of Secondary Education for the male and female cadre within the state. Out of the total posts, 12294 posts are filled and only 7006 vacancies are available in the government schools of Uttar Pradesh. 2215 vacancies are for the post of Lecturer and the rest 5256 vacancies are for Assistant Teacher (LT Grade cadre).
The minimum educational qualification for uppsc.gov.in recruitment 2023 is B.ed/ Degree, however, candidates with higher education also eligible for apply for LT Grade Teacher vacancy but age limit is mandatory.

As per UP Govt notification, the age limit is 21-40 years for general, OBC 3 years, SC, ST 5 year’s age relaxation available for 2023 LT Grade Teacher Recruitment.

The UP LT Grade Teacher Exam Pattern is very simple and the candidates need to clear only a written test to get the final selection as a Grade Assistant Teacher. Only those candidates who qualify for both the papers of the exam find a place in the UP LT Grade Assistant Result List. The candidates can check out the in-depth exam pattern in the space below:
o The written examination will be held in the offline pen and paper mode. The candidates will be required to record their response in the OMR sheet provided to them.
o The questions asked in the exam will be objective the candidates must follow.
o As per the marking scheme, the candidates will be getting 1 mark for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.33 marks for the wrong answer.
o The candidates will be required to complete the examinations in 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours.
o The candidates who are successful in clearing the UP LT Grade Teacher Cut Off will be called for the next round i.e. Document Verification.
